Helping Latino families thrive in Northern Kentucky
Esperanza Latino Center is a trusted bilingual resource center for Latino families in Northern Kentucky. We help people navigate systems that can be difficult to access—from health care and schools to benefits, legal information, and everyday family needs.
Our work is built on a simple idea: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, understand their options, and have access to the support they need. Through free bilingual services and strong community partnerships, Esperanza helps families overcome barriers and build a stronger future.

Our work
Esperanza’s work is organized around three connected areas:
Health, Education, and Overall Wellbeing.
Families may come to us with one need, but often need support in several areas. We listen, help them take the next step, and connect them with trusted resources in the community.
Education
We help parents enroll children in school and preschool, understand school documents, and connect with tutoring, mentoring, and after-school programs.
We also support early-childhood development, distribute school supplies, and connect youth and adults with English classes, GED programs, and skilled-trades training —opening doors to learning at every age.
Health
We provide free physician visits through our partnership with St. Elizabeth Healthcare and help families schedule medical and dental appointments, apply for Medicaid, understand medical bills, and request hospital financial assistance.
Our health fairs, screenings, vaccines, and educational workshops bring preventive care and trusted information directly to the community.
Overall Wellbeing
We help families meet everyday needs and navigate unfamiliar systems—from receiving diapers and applying for SNAP to obtaining birth certificates and passports.
Our bilingual team explains documents, completes forms, connects families with food and housing resources, and provides access to free immigration legal consultations and notary services.
